Giuliana and Bill Rancic reveal they’re having a baby

Giuliana and Bill Rancic have confirmed that they are expecting their first baby.

The couple, who have been open about their difficulties in conceiving, are having their child through a gestational surrogate, meaning that the baby will be their genetic child.

Announcing the news in an interview with E! News, Giuliana revealed that the baby is due in “late summer” but explained that she wants to keep the sex of the child a secret.

She added that their families are “so excited” and “over the moon”, while Bill admitted that it was hard keeping it all a secret.

“So many people have been praying for us and we certainly appreciate all the prayers,” he added. “As we said earlier, this is our year – it’s the year of the Rancics – and good things, good things are coming.”

Giuliana recently said that the couple “definitely” still wanted to start a family and revealed that they are “for sure” planning to renew their vows this year.

The news comes after Giuliana’s well-documented diagnosis of breast cancer last October. The host had a double mastectomy in December and revealed earlier this month that she is “good”.

The couple’s reality show Giuliana & Bill airs on Tuesdays on Style in the US and on Wednesdays on Style in the UK.
