LMFAO deny they’re breaking up
LMFAO have denied rumours that they are breaking up.
The ‘Party Rock Anthem’ duo were recently the subject of tabloid reports that they were close to splitting due to major financial disputes.
LMFAO addressed those rumours while promoting their upcoming 25-city summer tour on Wednesday (April 25).
“[The break-up claim is] completely false,” SkyBlu said, reports Rolling Stone. “We’re family at the end of the day. Blood is stronger than anything.”
Redfoo added that he and SkyBlu are likely to pursue solo ventures in the future, but will always reunite for LMFAO projects.
“Sky might be doing a DJ set in South America and I might be in Vegas, and they’ll say, ‘Oh, they’re separate doing things. How can we make a story out of that?'” Redfoo explained.
“We have to be smart enough to recognise it’s all a game, keep executing our vision and turn this world into a party planet.”
LMFAO’s sophomore album Sorry for Party Rocking reached the top ten on both the US and UK charts last summer.
Their singles ‘Party Rock Anthem’ and ‘Sexy and I Know It’ have both become US number one hits.
LMFAO kick off their world tour tonight (April 26) in Belem, Brazil.
