Demi Moore changes Twitter name
Demi Moore has changed her Twitter name.
The actress, who announced the end of her six-year marriage to Ashton Kutcher seven months ago, has now removed the actor’s last name from her blogging account.
Moore – who was formerly known by the username @mrskutcher on the social networking website – announced: “So hard finding a name that was fun, somewhat playful and available. So for now it will be @justdemi. It could grow on me!”
The 49-year-old also acknowledged her followers who assisted her in the search for a new alias, writing: “Thanks everyone for your help in finding my new name!”
Moore first asked her 4.9 million followers for their opinion on a new Twitter name in April.
The LOL actress wrote: “Time for a change, Twitter name change. Any suggestions?
“Collecting all the suggestions! Thank you. Keep them coming!”
Moore had previously defended her decision to keep her username in 2011, writing: “Changing my Twitter name isn’t a top priority right now. Sorry it bothers so many of you.
“Should I not tweet until I do? Does it really matter?”
