Justin Bieber & Eminem Dominate Billboard Awards
Justin Bieber and Eminem were the big winners at last night’s 2011 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas, bagging a cool 14 gongs between them.
The Biebster, who attended the star-studded bash with his girlfriend, Selena Gomez, took home awards for Fan Favourite, Pop Album and New Artist – which before accepting, he was seen smooching with Selena.
Wearing a glitzy gold blazer, the 17-year old thanked his mother, Pattie Mallette, who also attended the ceremony with JB and Gomez.
Rapper Eminem also shared the glory with Biebs, picking up the ceremony’s biggest honours including awards for Artist of the Year and Rap Album for his smash hit LP, Recovery.
Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Lady GaGa and the UK’s very own Taio Cruz and Mumford & Sons also triumphed at the show, winning three gongs each.
Beyoncé took home the coveted Billboard Millennium Award and also performed her new single, Run The World (Girls) with a troupe of female backing dancers.
Other performers included Pitbull and Ne-Yo, Black Eyed Peas and Britney Spears and Rihanna, who opened the show at Sin City’s MGM Grand with a sexy rendition of their collaboration, S&M, as they both donned kinky bondage outfits.
Spears later returned to the stage with Nicki Minaj – who will be touring with Britney on her Femme Fatale tour next month – for a remixed version of the 29-year old’s apocalyptic tune, Till The World Ends.
