Ash confirmed for Camp Bestival 2013
Ash have been added to the bill for Camp Bestival 2013, joining the likes of Richard Hawley, Levellers and Labrinth for the four-day event in Dorset this August.
“This is our first time at Camp Bestival and we can’t wait,” said Ash.
“We’ve heard a lot about it, and are always being asked by fans if we’re playing there.
“It’s an honour to be included in this year’s lineup! Roll on summer!”
Bestival and Camp Bestival co-founder Rob da Bank added: “I’m always checking out what our Camp Besti fans wanna see and Ash have been in there since we began, so it’s a corking way to kick off our A-Z.
“We’ve just sorted a great ‘B’ and ‘C’, but [have still] got the other 23 letters to sort. Watch this space.”
An ‘A to Z’ of acts playing Camp Bestival will be revealed over the coming days and weeks.
Camp Bestival takes place between Thursday, August 1 and Sunday, August 4 at Lulworth Castle in Dorset.
Adult weekend tickets including camping cost £190 (from Thursday) or £180 (from Friday). Student, 15-17, 11-14 and age 10 and under concessions are also available.
