Selena shows Justin what he’s missing with sultry belly dance at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards

Selena Gomez showed Justin Bieber what he was missing when she took to the stage at last night’s Billboard Music Awards.

Performing her latest single, Come and Get It, she delivered an electric performance surrounded by a bevy of belly dancers in a draping gold gown which flashed just a hint of leg.

The former Disney star has said her performance was inspired by Britney Spears' 2001 hit I'm A Slave 4 U

Held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, the performance was reminiscent of Britney Spears’ iconic Slave 4 U snake dance.

“I think [Britney’s] one of the best that made that transition,” said the Disney star.

“That video [‘Slave 4 U’] is so hot, it’s incredible, so I love that, and I definitely wanted to do that with my transition, but I don’t think there’s a path you have to follow.

“I think you just have to figure it out and hope for the best, so if it has a similarity, that’s only a compliment.”
