Arrow star Colton Haynes talks Roy’s future

Arrow star Colton Haynes has hinted that his character Roy is about to find himself the crime-fighting partner of Oliver Queen.

“I think [Roy joining with Oliver is] obviously where it’s heading,” Haynes told Us Weekly.

“Whether or not that’s going to happen right away, I’m not quite sure. I think they’re toying with the idea of making him wait a bit.

“You have to watch out, because Roy has a lot of inner demons. If he becomes a [costumed] hero right away, he could possibly turn into a little bit of a bad guy.”

Haynes has been promoted to series regular status for Arrow’s upcoming second season, along with co-stars Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity Smoak) and Manu Bennett (Slade Wilson).
