Justin Bieber has been cleared by police after it was reported the teen star was involved in an alleged hit and run on Monday night.

Biebs was said to have pinned a photographer between his white Ferrari and a parked Audi on Sunset Boulevard, then to have driven away before the LAPD could arrive to take down a report.

 

The collision occurred on the right hand side of the vehicle, opposite to the drivers side

While photo’s of the incident appear to show the paparazzo being struck by Bieber’s car, after examining video footage police confirmed that no crime had being committed by the young singer.

Instead they are investigating whether the injured paparazzo was in the roadway.

Lt. Craig Valenzuela confirmed that nobody was cited or arrested and officers determined no crime was committed.

The incident occurred outside the Laugh Factory in Hollywood, where Justin, 19, and Lil Twist were hanging out until around 11.45pm before making their exit.

Footage of the incident showed a swarm of photographers surrounding Bieber’s car, preventing it from leaving.

One of Bieber’s bodyguards is said to have pulled up in his white sports car, jumped out of the driver’s seat to make way for the Biebs who then crawled behind the steering wheel from the right side, passenger door.

Lil Twist jumped in next to Justin, who waited as the popstar motioned for the gathered paparazzi to move out of the way so he could drive through.

In the paparazzo frenzy, Bieber’s body guard attempted to clear the way for the pair to leave the club, the when the road looked mostly clear Bieber slowly drove off.

A photographer can then be seen lying on the ground holding his leg. He refuses attempts to help him to stand, instead lying back down to pose for pictures.

The photographer was taken to Cedar-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for treatment, and the police continued their investigation from the emergency room.
