Gareth Bale passes Real Madrid medical

Gareth Bale has passed his medical at Real Madrid.

The Spanish side announced the news of their official website that Bale had passed his medical tests on Monday morning at the Sanitas La Moraleja hospital.

The club already announced on Sunday that they have reached an agreement with Tottenham to sign the 24-year-old for a record breaking £86m, on a sign a six-year deal.

“Gareth Bale visited the Sanitas La Moraleja hospital, where he underwent his medical tests ahead of his move to Real Madrid,” an official club statement reads.

“The player successfully passed the tests and then went to the Santiago Bernabeu to sign his contract withlos Blancos and to be presented at the Royal Box.

“The player arrived at the Sanitas La Moraleja hospital at 09:30 CET, where he underwent various tests: blood and urine analysis, electrocardiogram, echo cardiogram, MRI, radiological and biomechanical study and cardio-respiratory examination.”

The official unveiling is scheduled for 12 noon.
