Lamar Odom heads to New York for comeback talks
Lamar Odom may be about to put his troubles behind him and make his basketball comeback.
The NBA star jetted to New York on Wednesday to meet up with several basketball teams according to a report from TMZ.
The appointments come after Lamar tested negative for drugs in both blood and urine tests on Tuesday.
The basketball star was arrested for DUI on August 30th, but has pled not guilty to driving under the influence.
Lamar’s lawyer Rich Hutton entered the plea on his behalf on Wednesday as the 33-year-old did not appear in court, TMZ reports.
The website claims that a pre-trial date has been scheduled for next month.
Lamar has apparently been ordered to observe all laws until then.
The reality star was arrested after being pulled over just before 4am for driving too slow at 50mph on the 101 Freeway in the San Fernando Valley.
He was then held at Van Nuys police station on $15,000 bail but was later released from custody.
Lamar’s life has spiraled out of control lately with revelations of alleged cheating on his wife Khloe Kardashian and abuse of crack cocaine, however the star is now said to be ready to put all that behind him and get his career back on track.
