LAWSON inspired by Justin Timberlake
Lawson have revealed that Justin Timberlake inspired a song on their new album.
The band, who released a repackaged version of their debut album Chapman Square earlier this week, revealed how Justin inspired their 
new song, Love Locked Out.
“I wrote it with that in mind,” Andy Brown told Digital Spy.
“I’ve been listening to lots of Justin’s new stuff like ‘Suit & Tie’, and I thought it would be great to do something a bit funkier.
“We wrote really fast actually. We did it in a couple of hours with producer Matt Schwartz, who’s worked with Kylie.
“It was really fun writing it and we were listening to ‘Senorita’ by Justin [Timberlake] and Earth Wind & Fire and stuff like that, so it was really cool to write a song like that.”
Brown added: “When we play it live it goes off, so it’s a really fun song.”
Lawson’s updated album Chapman Square Chapter II is out now
