Fast & Furious 7 writer working on Paul Walker exit
Fast & Furious 7 writer Chris Morgan is reportedly working on the script of the upcoming film to incorporate the recent death of Paul Walker.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Morgan is developing the screenplay, which may use scenes already shot featuring the late Paul Walker.
Walker died on November 30 when a car he was travelling in with a friend crashed.
He had already filmed a large portion of scenes for the seventh instalment of the franchise, but many scenes had yet to be completed.
Production has since been indefinitely postponed.
Insiders claim that Universal executives hope they can retire Walker’s character Brian O’Conner while keeping scenes already shot.
Production could reportedly begin as early as late January if the rewrites are accepted.
Paul Walker fans staged a public memorial service for the late actor in Los Angeles earlier this week.
