DEADLINE DAY: Celtic complete Griffiths deal
Leigh Griffiths is undergoing a medical at Celtic after Wolves accepted an increased offer for the striker.
Parkhead boss Neil Lennon has reportedly offered £1m for the former Hibernian forward after his first two advances were rejected by Molineux manager Kenny Jackett.
Griffiths could be seen as a direct replacement for Georgios Samaras who is attracting attention from Turkish side Trabzonspor.
The Greece striker is out of contract in the summer and Lennon will look to cash in now rather than see him walk away a free agent at the end of the season.
Celtic’s Joe Ledley accepted an £800,000 offer for a move to Crystal Palace.
