Kanye postpones Australian leg of Yeezus Tour
Kanye West has postponed the Australian leg of his Yeezus Tour.
The dates, which were supposed to kick off in Perth on May 2, have been pushed back so that the rapper can work on his new album.
West will now play the shows in Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney in September.
“Due to unexpected timing requirements to finish his highly anticipated new studio album, scheduled for a 2014 release, Kanye West regretfully announces the postponement of his upcoming tour dates in Australia,” said the tour’s promoter Live Nation in a statement.
West was previously forced to postpone a number of ‘Yeezus’ dates last year after some essential stage props were destroyed in an accident.
