Stevie McCrorie added to T in the Park lineup
The Voice UK winner Stevie McCrorie has been added to this years T in the Park lineup.
It won’t be the first time that McCrorie has appeared at the Scottish festival, having played the T Break Stage in 2010 as part of an unsigned talent initiative.
“Growing up in Scotland, I dreamed of being able to play T in the Park, there’s always been something magical about the festival to me since I was a teenager!
“I played the T Break Stage in 2010 with a collaborative project called MOPP, but to return to the festival this year as a solo artist is going to be really special,” said Stevie.
“Stevie is an incredible talent – he’s no stranger to music fans in Scotland though, having gigged for years as MOPP and also Stevie and the Moon, so his return to T in the Park is sure to be a very special moment for him and for those in the crowd,” added Festival Director Geoff Ellis.
He will be joined by EDM star Afrojack, who will play a DJ set at Strathallan Castle this July.
“Afrojack is one of the biggest DJs and producers in the world – he’s never played T in the Park before so we’re thrilled to confirm him for this year’s festival.”
Kasabian, The Libertines and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds have been booked to headline T in the Park 2015.
David Guetta, Avicii, The Prodigy, alt-J, Sam Smith, Jessie J and more are also due to appear at the festival, which takes place between July 10 and 12.
Earlier this week, it was reported that T in the Park 2015 faces an obstacle in the form of a protected species found on the festival site, throwing this year’s event into doubt.
