Rob Kardashian reacts to Caitlyn Jenner’s Vanity Fair cover
Rob Kardashian didn’t recognize his stepfather Bruce Jenner on the cover of Vanit Fair magazine.
Stepfather to the Kardashian clan, Jenner made his debut as a female on the cover of Vanity Fair yesterday and stepson Rob had no idea.
The 28-year-old was bewildered when his sister Kim sent him the image of the Olympic gold medalist as Caitlyn Jenner, she revealed to Access Hollywood Live at the CDFA Fashion Awards in New York City on Monday.
Without recognizing a trace of the father figure who raised him, Rob responded: “Kim, why are you sending me this? Who is this woman and why do I care?”
Kim said that all of her sisters, Kourtney, 36, Khloe, 30, Kendall, 19, and Kylie, 17, were eagerly anticipating the big reveal.
“I’ve been on the phone maybe five different times today sending it to all the family members.
“It was so funny because all the girls – we knew Caitlyn was shooting this, but my brother had no idea,” explained Kim.
“So I sent it on a mass text to everybody and my brother was on it, and he goes, “Kim, why are you sending me this? Who is this woman and why do I care.
“And I was like, Rob, that’s Bruce – that’s Caitlyn. And he was like, “Oh my god, she’s beautiful.”
The reality star added that Rob dialed Caitlyn and the pair ‘had a love fest’ over the phone.
Kim told the entertainment program that she shared the wisdom she has gained from her many times posing in front of cameras.
She said she advised Caitlin to “just practice, practice by yourself until you feel comfortable.”
Kim noted that she and Caitlin share the same hair guru – Oribe – who styled the new woman’s Hollywood curls and Kim’s locks on Glamour’s July issue.
