Radio 1 Teen Awards
The stars were out in force on Sunday at Radio 1’s Teen Awards.
Hosted by The Saturdays, Mollie King and Nick Grimshaw at Wembley Arena, the likes of X Factor runner-up Olly Murs, The Wanted – who won Best British Music Album and the Best British Music Act respectively, Pixie Lott, Joe Jonas, Jason Derulo, One Direction, Rizzle Kicks and Ed Sheeran, entertained the crowd of screaming fans.
Olympic diver Tom Daley won Best British Young Sports Star while the gong for Best British Actor went to Harry Potter redhead Rupert Grint.
Best British Single went to Ed Sheeran for The A Team and the Best British TV Show was The Inbetweeners.
The awards were a chance to recognise heroes in your everyday life and in the celebrity world.
The public was asked to nominate the stars along with civilians, aged between 12 and 17, who were ‘so amazing, that you think the world needs to hear about them’.
The entries were reviewed by a team at Radio 1 and a shortlist was created which was presented to a panel of celebs and experts who decided the winners
Also on the red carpet were The Only Way Is Essex stars Sam Faiers and Harry Derbidge, rapper Professor Green, Harry Potter star Tom Felton and presenter Reggie Yates.
