Adele ditches Sony Brits party after supporting Kesha
Adele was seen walking out of her own record labels after show party.
After her triumphant win at the Brits, where the singer publicly supported Kesha – who has been forced to stay with the label despite a rape allegation against producer Dr Luke.
Adele is currently the biggest and most profitable artist signed to Sony, the same label that last week won a court battle against Kesha when she tried to leave their roster because she claims she was raped and drugged by producer Dr Luke.
The 27-year-old musician was reportedly seen walking out of the Sony bash ‘just a few seconds’ after arriving.
Adele, who publicly called out Sony in her acceptance speech for binding US singer Kesha to her music contract, is said to have been looking ‘upset’ and ‘stressed’.
A fellow reveler at the Arts Club in London told The Evening Standard newspaper: “I was in the entrance hall when Adele walked in. She looked really stressed out.
‘There were quite a few people around her and she just turned around and said, ‘I don’t want to do this, I’m going to go home.”
“It was so fast it happened in just a few seconds. She looked upset more than anything, like it was all too much for her.”
