Harry Styles to play Mick Jagger in biopic?
Harry Styles looks set to sing all the way to the bank after signing an $80 million record deal aswell as being lined up to play Mick Jagger in new Rolling Stones movie.
According to a report from the Daily Star, the former 1D member is lined up to play the Rolling Stones frontman in new movie Exile on Main Street: A Season in Hell with the Rolling Stones.
The movie will chronicle the band’s 1972 double album Exile on Main Street, which they recorded in France during a notoriously hedonistic summer.
Harry’s only 22 and Mick was pushing 30 at the time of Exile, but the resemblance between the two is uncanny.
Last month the former One Direction singer reportedly signed a record deal worth $80 million with Columbia Records, which is a cool £60 million.
Hits Daily Double reported that Apple initially offered $25m for one album, which forced Columbia to submit a strong offer, meaning the winning bid was in the $75-£80 million range.
The reported signing means Harry will certainly be busy over the coming months.
The 22-year-old popstar is currently filming Christopher Nolan World War II drama, Dunkirk, with rumours that he will also star as Mick Jagger in an upcoming Rolling Stones biopic.
