Taylor Swift confirms she wrote Calvin Harris and Rihanna hit

Taylor Swift has confirmed she wrote Calvin Harris and Rihanna’s smash hit This Is What You Came For. 

The pop star, who dated the Scottish DJ for 15 months, revealed the info in a surprising twist in their recent mystery break up.

It’s  rumoured the pair broke up after Talylor felt he “disrespected” her after the release of the track, which has been conquering the dance charts since April.

Taylor’s representative confirmed on Wednesday that she was secretly responsible for the song, revealing: “Taylor Swift wrote This Is What You Came For under the pseudonym Nils Sjöberg.”

According to TMZ, Taylor and Calvin agreed not to release it as a couple for fear it would overshadow the song, so she encouraged him to record the song with Rihanna.

Apparently cracks in their relationship formed after the song’s release when the Scottish hitmaker dismissed the idea of ever working with Taylor in an interview.

Discussing the possibility of a collaboration with his then-girlfriend, Calvin told Ryan Seacrest: “You know we haven’t even spoken about it. I can’t see it happening though.”

The diss was allegedly ‘the breaking point in the relationship’, and their split soon followed.

Taylor is now dating British actor Tom Hiddleston.
