The Only Way Is Essex star Lucy Mecklenburgh’s has shed more than a few tears over lothario, Mario, for sending other girls text messages. And now things are heating up after Georgina Dorsett revealed she’s previously locked lips with the Lothario.

But Lucy needn’t worry too much – the show newcomer is adamant she’s not attracted to the Italian in the slightest.

Georgina, who is best mates with The Saturdays’ Rochelle Wiseman, admits she finds Mario good looking but can’t see them ever starting up a relationship.

She tells new! magazine: ‘I’ve kissed Mario, but he’s not my type. Obviously there is no denying he is good-looking. Is he my type? No.

‘No, there’s not going to be anything happening with me and Mario. I can’t see it.’

And Georgina has shed light on rumours they previously enjoyed a tryst, suggesting he may have wanted more but she wasn’t interested.

She adds: ‘He literally took me on one date way before Lucy. It was over a year ago. I think we had one kiss.

‘I can’t even remember. I didn’t like him like that. I had just come out of a long relationship and that was the last thing I wanted. I don’t know if he wanted more but he just wasn’t for me. He is a nice guy, though.’

It may come as a small relief to Lucy, who was seen bursting into tears throughout Sunday’s TOWIE episode when she confronted Mario about his penchant for texting other girls.

But Mario maintained he hadn’t done anything wrong, insisting it’s not like cheating – something Lucy did behind his back with former cast mate Mark Wright.

And in the same episode Georgina started to open up about Mario’s interest in her.

She revealed to Lauren Pope and Lauren Goodger she had also had a message from Mario.

After Pope pointed out that Mario had been staring at Georgina during a recent night out, she replied: ‘To be honest, when we left faces, he messaged me just saying you looked nice. He liked me before but I was never interested in him like that. It’s really bad isn’t it.’

But Georgina is adamant she’s not one of the girls Mario has exchanged saucy emails with – and she insists Lucy doesn’t deserve to be cheated on even though she’s slept with Mark.

‘Mario has texted me but, as far as I am concerned, we are just friends,’ she adds. ‘I don’t think anyone deserves to be cheated on. I’m against that.’
