Sacha Baron Cohen will be at the Oscars
Sacha Baron Cohen will be making an appearance at the Academy Awards, it has been revealed.
The Bruno and Borat actor was recently said to have been banned by Oscars co-ordinators when he announced that he would be walking Sunday’s red carpet as his character from upcoming mockumentaryThe Dictator.

Cohen released a video response to the apparent ban, speaking as the fictional Admiral General Aladeen.
However, it now seems as though Cohen will in fact be present at Sunday’s awards ceremony.
In an interview with Extra, Oscars producer Brian Grazer stated that Cohen will indeed be walking the red carpet “dressed as The Dictator”.
Grazer also told Access Hollywood: “We absolutely respect him as an artist and he’s allowed to come. He’s part of the show.”
Cohen was invited to the Oscars ceremony as part of the cast of Martin Scorsese’s Hugo, which has received 11 nominations including ‘Best Picture’.
The Academy Awards will air Sunday, February 26 on ABC in the US and Sky Movies in the UK.
