Dappy feels lonely without N-Dubz bandmates
Dappy has confessed that he is finding his solo career “tough” and “lonely”.
The rapper admitted that he hasn’t spoken to his fellow N-Dubz band members Tulisa Contostavlos and Fazer for a while.
Dappy is quoted by The Sun as saying: “I’m not gonna lie. I haven’t seen or spoke to T or Fazer for months and it’s tough. It’s not the same.
“We were together for so long and now it does get lonely.”
The singer’s latest single ‘Rockstar’ reached number two on the UK chart on Sunday (March 4), but Dappy revealed that he originally wanted to record the song that beat him to the summit.
He explained: “I’ve been beaten by Gotye’s ‘Someone That I Used To Know’ but it’s funny cos months back I begged my label to let me cover the song with a girl like Jessie J and release it here.
“But my label boss had just signed the song. He said I should be an A&R man.”
