EastEnders spoiler – Tanya gets her results

EastEnders’ Branning family receive heartwarming news next week as Tanya gets the all-clear following her cancer battle.

Tanya (Jo Joyner) can’t help but feel apprehensive as she heads to the hospital for her all-important MRI scan in next Monday’s (March 12) episode. Although she has Max (Jake Wood) by her side, the mum-of-three wonders whether her wayward partner would really stand by her if the news turned out to be bad.

Max, meanwhile, feels guilt-ridden as he receives a phone call from flirtatious Roxy (Rita Simons) while waiting for the radiographer to call Tanya in. Deciding to stay loyal to Tanya, he texts Roxy back and calls off plans for a secret rendezvous with her.

The next day, it’s the moment of truth for Tanya as she heads back to the hospital to hear the results of the MRI scan.

Fortunately, there’s excellent news for a tearful Tanya and her loved ones – the results came back all-clear.

Back at home, the Brannings gather to celebrate Tanya’s recovery, but during a moment alone with Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa), she confesses that she’s already worried about her cancer returning.

However, Lauren has wise words for her mother – pointing out that she can’t waste time living in fear.

Later, it seems that Tanya has taken on board the advice as she cheerfully destroys her own sofa, pointing out that it was a prison for her while she was unwell but won’t be anymore!

Max is particularly delighted as he sees that Tanya is suddenly full of life again. Will this be a turning point for their troubled relationship?
