Usher debuts new music video
Usher has debuted his new music video online.
The singer will release ‘Climax’ on April 16 as the lead single from his forthcoming seventh studio album.
The accompanying music video sees the star brooding in a car outside his girlfriend’s house, while cuts of them making love flash throughout.
‘Climax’ was produced by Ariel Rechtshaid, Redd Stylez and Diplo and was first debuted back in February by Usher on Twitter.
The song has so far peaked at number 81 on the Hot 100 chart, but is expected to rise once radio add the track to their listings.
Usher has previously explained that ‘Climax’ is not intended to be a song about sex, but rather the complication of relationships.
He told US radio station V-103: “It’s not even about sex. It’s really about the ultimate experience or lack thereof. Or the finale of an experience of love and life.
“When you’re in a relationship and it has kinda reached the climax of where it can go, you gotta let it go if you are not going to commit.”
