Plan B would be honored to do Odd Future collaboration
Plan B has revealed that he would like to work with Odd Future.
Plan B – real name Ben Drew – said that he is a big fan of the LA hip-hop collective and would be “honoured” if they ever approached him to work on a collaboration.
“I love Odd Future, I love Tyler The Creator, I love the lyrics of Earl Sweatshirt, as a young man, I’m still waiting to see what he drops,” the British rapper told NME.
Asked if he would like to work with them in the future, he replied: “Yeah. I’d be honoured if they looked at me in that way and thought that I was someone they’d wanna work with. So of course I would, but I doubt that will happen, you know.”
Plan B recently released his new single ‘iLL Manors’ and will unveil his movie and accompanying soundtrack album of the same name later this year.
Speaking about the iLL Manors album, he added: “You could call iLL Manors bassline, soul, hip-hop.
“The album has the lyrical depth of my first record but the musical composition is light years ahead as it’s informed by everything I’ve learnt in the last five years – writing, producing and playing with a live band. I feel I’m better than I’ve ever been.”
The iLL Manors movie will be released on May 4, while the soundtrack LP will follow on May 7.
