Alison Hammond voted off Strictly Come Dancing
Alison Hammond has been voted off Strictly Come Dancing.
The This Morning television presenter was voted off the dancing show last Sunday night after her Charleston failed to impress the judges.
The showbiz reporter found herself in the dance off with fellow presenter Caroline Flack.
Alison said she had “an absolute ball” competing in the show alongside professional partner Aljaz Skorjanec.
Heading into the dance off Caroline and partner Pasha Kovalev performed their waltz to Three Times a Lady, while Alison and Skorjanec reignited their Charleston to Friend Like Me.
Judge Craig Revel Horwood chose to save Caroline, saying: “One is a fun dance, one is a very serious dance, but I have to go for the best dance and that is Caroline and Pasha.”
Darcey and Bruno also supported the former Xtra Factor presenter while head judge Len added: “I would have agreed with my colleagues and saved Caroline and Pasha.”
“Caroline smashed it tonight – I want her to go on and get to the final,” said a humbled Alison.
“I’ve had the best time ever and I am still going to Blackpool and I don’t care what anyone says.
“I’ve had the best time, thank you judges for all your comments I’ve had an absolute ball. I’d say to anyone who is thinking about doing this show to just go for it and do it, I don’t care what colour you are or what size you are, I’ve loved it.”
