Amber Heard has filed for divorce from Johnny Depp.
Heard cited irreconcilable differences in formally filing for divorce from husband on Monday, according to TMZ.
The couple were married back in February 2015 in a low-key Los Angeles civil ceremony after meeting on set of The Rum Diary.
While the couple are two of the most famous film stars in the world, they’ve made headlines more recently for running foul of Australian animal control laws.
The pair were forced to make a public apology last month after Amber Heard allegedly smuggled their dogs into Australia.
Prior to his relationship with Heard, Depp was involved in a 14-year romance and had two children with the French singer Vanessa Paradis.
