Amber Heard smitten with new love Johnny Depp

Amber Heard the stunning actress linked to Johnny Depp has told of her fondness for the screen hunk, saying: “He lights up a room.”

Amber Heard, 26 — who shared a steamy scene with Johnny in The Rum Diary — added: “He looks even better close up.

“Johnny is a wonderful, special person.”

Amber has been a regular visitor to the set of the Hollywood idol’s new movie The Lone Ranger, in New Mexico.

Johnny, 49, announced the end of his 14-year relationship with 39-year-old French singer Vanessa Paradis this week.

The couple have two children Lily-Rose, 13, and Jack, ten.

Amber — who calls herself a “complicated blonde” — was hand picked by Johnny in 2009 as his Rum Diary love interest.

She gushed in an interview when the film was released last year: “I auditioned four times and was told that Johnny would make the final choice.

“We’ve stayed friends, because that’s the kind of man he is.”

In April, Amber was seen slipping on to Johnny’s jet in Las Vegas, where he was promoting his latest release Dark Shadows.
