Calvin Harris cancels two gigs to heal from crash
Calvin Harris was forced to cancel an additional two shows in Las Vegas while he recovers from his car crash injuries.
The Scottish DJ, real name Adam Wiles, took to social media on Thursday to inform fans that he was pulling out of his performance on Thursday at Hakkasan and on Friday at Caesar Palace’s Omnia nightclub.
Calvin’s HQ indicated that he is ‘still recovering from the injuries’ following his car crash that occurred less than one week ago.
A statement posted on his Facebook page read: ‘Adam is still recovering from the injuries sustained in the car accident last Friday. Unfortunately, as a result he will not be able to perform in Las Vegas at Hakkasan tonight, 5/26 and Omnia tomorrow, 5/27.
‘He has asked us to pass on his apologies to everyone who was due to attend the shows and hopes to be back to his normal schedule soon,’ the statement added.
The DJ previously cancelled his Omnia nightclub appearance on May 20 and also pulled out of a headline slot on May 21 at the Hangout Festival in Alabama.
A Volkswagen Beetle on May 21 smashed into a black Cadillac SUV in which Calvin was a passenger during the collision in Los Angeles; he suffered a cut to the nose.
