Capital FM announces Summertime Ball 2012
Capital FM has revealed the first details about this year’s Summertime Ball.
The music event will take place at London’s Wembley Stadium on June 9, with the lineup to be confirmed shortly.
“As if presenting to a packed Wembley wasn’t enough to get me going, I’ve now heard the genuinely amazing lineup for this year’s show,” said Capital Breakfast Show presenter Dave Berry.
“I’ve been sworn to secrecy by Capital, but I’m not sure how long I’ll be able to keep it quiet on air.”
The concert will be sponsored by Vodafone and customers of the mobile network will have advanced access to ticket sales from April 21.
Capital Summertime Ball tickets will then go on general sale from 8am on Monday, April 23.
