Caroline Flack slams Sam Smith

Caroline Flack has apparently blasted Sam Smith for ruining the biggest day of her life.

In a cryptic Instagram post she accuses a close friend of ruining “the biggest day” of her life.

The new X Factor presenter was attending the launch of the ITV talent show with co-host Olly Murs and judges Simon Cowell, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Nick Grimshaw before sharing the ambiguous message online.

Next to an image of herself holding a glitter ball, the 35-year-old TV star wrote: “When someone who knows you more than anyone ruins the biggest day of your life.”

It’s been suggested that she was referring to close friend and singer Sam Smith, after he shared a snap of her ex-boyfriend (and his manager) Jack Street sitting next to a mystery girl.

In the picture which the 23-year-old ‘Lay Me Down’ singer had reposted, Street can be seen sitting right at the back, touching shoulders with a brunette woman. Smith added the caption: “Ibiza SQUAD”

According to The Sun, the same message was posted on her Twitter account, as well as one directed at Sam Smith – apparently after he posted an image showing her ex-boyfriend with another woman just weeks after they split.

It is said she also tweeted – and later deleted – the singer himself with a cryptic post.

She wrote: “@samsmithworld, you love to push that buttons. (sic)”

She reportedly added: “@samsmithworld you should tell them the Grammy text. It’s my Grammy win.”

Flack split from the music manager last year after dating for 18 months.
