Chantelle and Alex celebrate the birth of their baby girl

Alex Reid has revealed that his partner Chantelle Houghton has given birth to a healthy baby girl.

The Celebrity Big Brother star was thrilled to welcome his daughter on Father’s Day.

Reid tweeted: “I’m delighted to announce the arrival of my beautiful baby daughter early this morning.

“Both mother and baby doing well..X.”

The couple have been together for 13 months but have admitted that they have had a tempestuous relationship with many arguments.

However, Chantelle recently admitted in her new! magazine column that the pair were getting on much better.

Houghton was surprised to find herself pregnant after doctors had warned her that she may be infertile after battling bulimia as a teenager.

Reid later tweeted: “This really is the most amazing day ever for the 3 of us.

“Life isn’t good,it’s great. I love my girls so much. Happy ecstatic fathers day! X”

The couple has yet to announce their daughter’s name.
