Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife Brooke Mueller back in rehab
It appears that Brooke Mueller’s troubles aren’t over yet, as it has been confirmed she is back in rehab.
A week after her rep said that Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife was happy to put “this chapter of her life behind her,” Mueller’s camp confirmed that the mother of two has relapsed and is back in rehab.
TMZ is reporting that the stay comes after she visited her ex-Charlie Sheen’s house appearing somewhat ‘out of it.’
The former Two And A Half Men star, 46, was said to be so concerned about his former wife’s state, he wanted to get an addiction specialist to examine her, but Brooke is said to have left his home and took the matter into her own hands, checking herself into treatment.
The mother-of-two’s rehab stay comes after she entered a facility in December, shortly after being arrested in Colorado for cocaine possession.
After two months as an in-patient, she then moved to an out-patient program in order to begin her transition back to normal life.
It is the longest she has ever stayed in treatment.
“As part of her ongoing treatment and as planned, she voluntarily checked herself into a rehab facility several weeks ago,” rep Steve Honig told Celebuzz, which reports that she is still battling a crack-cocaine addiction.
Mueller, 34, has been in and out of rehab since divorcing Sheen following his Christmas 2009 meltdown in Aspen.
Most recently, after being arrested in December for felony cocaine possession and misdemeanor assault in Aspen for allegedly getting into it with another patron at a music venue, she tried outpatient therapy—but when that didn’t work, she checked into an “intensive” inpatient treatment program. Mueller then chased that with “aggressive” outpatient rehab.
