Cheryl warned to keep an eye on new husband
Cheryl Cole has been warned that her new husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini can’t be tamed and that she should keep an eye on him.
Close friend and former boxing coach, Curtis Jones, has revealed he’s unsure whether she’ll be able to change his ways after marrying the X Factor judge in a secret ceremony a week ago.
Speaking to The Sun, he said: “I’m so happy he has found love – but I would say to Cheryl she’s got to keep a close eye on Jean.
“He definitely has an eye for the ladies and they love him too. When we used to go out together they would flock around us … He is a wild man – I don’t think he can be tamed.”
Curtis coached Jean-Bernard – who is believed to have been based in the United States for a decade – in Brooklyn, New York for six months and claims he witnessed him partying with groups of girls on numerous occasions.
However, Curtis admits Jean-Bernard could now be ready for family life with Cheryl but doesn’t think he’ll ever fully let go of his partying lifestyle.
“I’m sure he is going to settle down but he’ll still love to party,” he added.
Meanwhile his best friend and business partner Frank Twister also opened up about the couple’s relationship to The Mirror.
The businessman revealed that he thinks Cheryl is so smitten with Jean-Bernard that she has told him he never needs to work again and can instead live of her £16 million fortune.
He told the paper: “I believe Cheryl has told him she doesn’t want him to carry on working. It may be that he gets involved in restaurants and bars but he’s never going to do a 9-5 job.”
“He’s too interested in having fun to want to work.”
