Corluka seals Bayer loan

Croatia defender secures first-team football ahead of Euro 2012

Bayer Leverkusen have confirmed the signing of Vedran Corluka on loan from Tottenham Hotspur for the rest of the season.

The defender had made only three appearances in the Premier League this term and had not featured for Spurs since the end of November.

He has now been allowed to link up with Leverkusen to play regular first-team football in order to be match fit for Croatia’s Euro 2012 campaign.
