Dancing On Ice’s Matt Lapinskas hints at romance with dancing partner

Dancing On Ice runner-up Matt Lapinskas and his pro-partner Brianne Delcourt have hinted they are in a relationship after declaring their love for each other on Twitter yesterday.

Matt, 24, who last month split from his former Eastenders co-star Shona McGarty wrote: “Sometimes in life u meet someone who makes u feel invincible! Had the most incredible last few days! I love you #tinkerbell.”

At almost exactly the same time Brianne posted a 2am message stating: “All I can say is that I’m the luckiest girl in the world!!! Had the best 2 days ever and had an amazing surprise today. I love you #Buster.”

Despite denying that Brianne, 32, was the reason for his split from Shona, he admitted earlier that he and the Canadian skater have “grown really close”.

Talking exclusively to the Sunday Mirror about their time on the show he said: “It’s been a tough 10 weeks together.

“Brianne was really there for me when I was down and I was there when she was low too.

“We’re going to be friends for life. Getting to meet Brianne has just been an absolute honour.” Matt and Brianne are about to fly to her homeland to star in Celebrities On Ice together.

He said: “It will be nice to spend some time together outside of this country and it will be nice to get to know her away from skating too.”
