DEADLINE DAY: Celtic’s Joe Ledley off to Crystal Palace
Celtic have accepted a bid from Crystal Palace for midfielder Joe Ledley.
The Welsh international’s current contract runs out in the summer, and the Glasgow club had hoped to keep a hold of the midfielder, offering the 27-year-old a new contract, however he declined to commit himself to a new deal.
Ledley moved to Glasgow under freedom of contract in 2010, following six years at hometown club Cardiff.
He has helped Celtic win three league titles and last year’s Scottish Cup.
He will now head to Crystal Palace after a bid of around £2.5million was tabled on Thursday night.
