EastEnders: Abi Branning makes shock discovery

Abi Branning receives a shock next week when she discovers that her dad Max has reunited with ex-partner Kirsty.

Max grows close to Kirsty again in the coming days after tracking her down and taking a beating while trying to protect her from an abusive ex.

When Max later arrives back on the Square, he avoids both of his daughters as he doesn’t want them to see his bruised face.

However, when Abi learns that Max is staying at the B&B, she heads over there and is shocked to find her father in Kirsty’s bed.

Abi storms home following her unwelcome discovery, but a huge argument ensues back at the house when Max follows her.

Lauren soon gets in on the act and criticises her dad for falling back into the arms of Kirsty, before putting on a united front with Abi and kicking him out of the house.

Later, Max watches on from the B&B as Lauren comforts Abi out on the Square. It’s clear that happy families may still be a long way off for the Brannings…
