EastEnders: Ray leaves Walford without Kim
EastEnders Ray Dixon leaves Walford and Kim Fox behind after it becomes apparent just how different they really are.
Ray and Kim’s re-kindled romance looks set to take them off into the sunset, when the pair choose to leave Walford after Ray decides he needs be with his daughter Sasha permanently following her mum’s car accident.
However as the pair make preparations to depart, it starts to become more and more apparent that they don’t have much in common with each other.
Denise has picked up on this and questions if Kim is making the right decision, but Kim is adamant that it will work this time.
That evening at Kim’s birthday party, Ray is horrified when he sees Poppy and Fatboy’s present to them – bright orange matching onesies. Kim, however, loves them.
When it is time for them to leave, Kim rushes back inside to get her bag, but she sees that Ray has thrown away his onesie.
Realising that he doesn’t really know her, Kim tells Ray that she is staying in Walford.
As everyone goes back inside to the party, Kim sadly watches Ray drive out of her life.
EastEnders airs these scenes on Monday, May 27 at 7.30pm on BBC One.
