Ed Sheeran has text Simon Cowell to say he’s backing Andrea Faustini to win the X Factor.
Sheeran revealed that he is backing Andrea Faustini to win this years show, calling him “fantastic.”
The singer/songwriter admitted that he’s such a fan of the Italian contestant, that he felt compelled to text Simon Cowell about how great he is.
“I texted Cowell about the Italian dude because I think he is fantastic,” Sheeran told The Sun.
“I like his love of pugs as well that he gives no f**k and wears whatever he wants.”
Sheeran will be performing single ‘Thinking Out Loud’ on X Factor’s live results show this Sunday (October 26).
The X Factor continues on Saturday night at 8pm on ITV.
