Ellie Goulding hoping to release second album in October

Ellie Goulding has revealed she is hoping to release her new album in October.

The singer is currently working on the follow-up to her 2010 debut Lights and has revealed that she is hoping to have the collection finished for fall.

Asked if her current boyfriend Skrillex has influenced the new material in any way, she told Clevver News: “No.”

Swedish House Mafia recently confessed that they have been working on a new track with Goulding and Skrillex and hope to see it on the singer-songwriter’s second album.

Goulding’s debut album Lights reached number one on the UK chart back in March 2010 and has sold over 650,000 copies since its release.
