Entourage movie delayed because of greed
Mark Wahlberg has revealed that “greed” is delaying the production of the Entourage movie.
The actor, and producer of the HBO series, appeared to confirm reports that the TV show’s stars’ contract issues are holding up the film.
Asked by TMZ when the movie was releasing, Wahlberg replied: “As soon as them guys stop being so greedy.
“It’s one of those things where if the movie is a success, then we’ll get to make a lot more of them and everybody will make a lot more money.”
According to a recent report, cast members including Jeremy Piven and Adrian Grenier were looking to negotiate bigger deals to star in the project.
Entourage came to an end on HBO in 2011, before a movie follow-up was announced in January 2012.
Wahlberg said in January that he was hoping for an April or May 2014 release.
