Frank Ocean cited for marijuana possession

Frank Ocean has reportedly been cited by police for possession of marijuana.

The singer was pulled over on New Year’s Eve by police in Mono County, CA for going over the 65mph speed limit, according to TMZ.

Officials went on to search the performer’s BMW after they smelled the odour of marijuana, eventually finding a small bag of weed.

Ocean received citations for marijuana possession, tinted windows and driving with a suspended license.

He was sent on his way and driven by the passenger accompanying him, after officers confiscated his license for the violation.

The 25-year-old musician recently revealed an axed song for the Django Unchained soundtrack.
