Frankie Boyle has his entire Comic Relief sketch axed after crude jokes

Frankie Boyle had his entire Comic Relief sketch cut from broadcast after he made vile jokes about Kate Middleton, the Queen, Oscar Pistorius and the Pope.

The controversial comedian whipped up a storm and was booed by the 12,500-strong audience at Wembley Arena as he performed his 10-minute set on Russell Brand’s Give It Up For Comic Relief last night.

Boyle’s most shocking remark came when he wished the Queen had died the night before her Diamond Jubilee last summer.

His routine was deemed so rude by BBC bosses, they ditched the entire thing from the BBC Three ‘almost live’ broadcast last night.

As he took to the stage for the charity event, he started off by referencing the Queen’s hospital visit at the weekend where she was checked in for gastroenteritis.

Receiving gasps from the audience as he attempted to gain some laughs, he said: ‘I wish the Queen had died the night before the Royal Jubilee – I wish she’d just f***ing died.

‘But they wouldn’t have been able to tell us that she’d died. They would have had to hollow out her body and get that guy who plays Gollum to wear it.’

Keeping the insults aimed at the British Royal family, he then moved on to joke about Kate Middleton’s pregnancy, even suggesting he was the father of her and Prince William’s unborn child.

‘I can’t believe she is pregnant to be honest because she told me she was on the pill.’

Next up was South African paralympian Oscar Pistorius, who is facing murder charges for the death of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.

‘Pistorius to me sounds like a spell Harry Potter would say to make your legs drop off,’ he told the bewildered audience.

Boyle even took aim at the Pope, suggesting a vulgar reason behind his resignation from his duties earlier this month.

‘The Pope must have done something that even the Catholic church found unacceptable,’ Boyle quipped. ‘My theory is that he f****d an adult woman.’

Boyle is no stranger to controversy, having come under fire many times in the past.

He has previously made jokes about cancer victims, Katie Price’s disabled son Harvey and he made several distasteful ‘gags’ during the Paralympic games last summer.
