Gillian Taylforth strips off aged 57
Celebrity Big Brother star Gillian Taylforth has stripped off for a sexy photo shoot, showing that at 57 she still has what it takes to be seen as a sex symbol.
The EastEnders legend and self-confessed “tomboy” told Closer that she wanted to show off her impressive physique to remind herself that she looked “quite all right once”.
“It really shocks me that people think I’m sexy!” she said.
“I’ve never seen myself like that. But I’m doing this shoot so I can look back when I’m old and grey and remind myself that I was quite all right once.”
“I’m actually not very good at accepting compliments. I’m a total tomboy – whenever you see me out and about I’ll be in my Timberlands and jeans.”
Taylforth insisted that her body is the result of three to four weekly Zumba sessions, a few weights and a healthy diet.
“At the moment, I wouldn’t have surgery,” said Gillian.
“I’m really lucky that my face has held up as long as it has, but never say never.
“You don’t know what the future will hold – I might wake up one day and find all the years have caught up with me.”
It was also announced today that Taylforth will be joining TV soap Hollyoaks.
