Girls Aloud tease new single

Girls Aloud have released a teaser for their new music video online ahead of it’s official unveiling this Friday (October 19).

The clip sees the five girls walking away from the camera in slow motion and starting to turn around just as the video snippet ends.

The video concludes with the confirmation that Girls Aloud will make a special announcement live on YouTube this Friday.

It is thought the pop act will announce a new Greatest Hits collection and a final headline tour of the UK, after Cheryl Cole revealed the plans at the end of her new autobiography.

The Under The Sun singer revealed on Alan Carr: Chatty Man that the band had actually planned to announce the news before she released her book.

She said: “The book was supposed to come out after we said something, so to put it quite frankly I’ve dropped myself in the sh*t.”

Cole also admitted that the tour will serve as the girl group’s last outing as a five-piece and claimed that they plan to part ways following their tenth anniversary celebrations.
