“From the heartfelt ceremony to the fun-filled carnival hour and elegant reception, it was a truly enchanting celebration,” according to Martha Stewart Weddings magazine, which helped organise the event along with local wedding planner Tara Guérard.

The ceremony was held in a ‘rustic barn’ and the reception was held in a white tent at the plantation.

Blake and Florence have apparently been friends for several years

Martha Stewart’s team worked with Lively, 25, and Reynolds, 35, and planner Tara Guérard of Soiree in Charleston, to create an “intimate, personalised party” for immediate and extended family.

“From the heartfelt ceremony to the fun-filled carnival hour and elegant reception, it was a truly enchanting celebration,” according to the magazine, which promises more details in its December issue.

“Ryan and Blake wanted the event to look and feel like home,” wedding planner Tara Guerard told E! News. “With decor and live music, we all created the charm, elegance and magic of times passed.”

Bakers at Bakehouse Bakery Cafe in Charleston created a smorgasbord of desserts for the wedding, reports Life & Style.

“We did the mini chocolate bun cakes with a chocolate ganache in the middle,” a bakery representative told the mag.

“We also did our s’more bars, which are homemade vanilla marshmallow with a graham cracker crust and our chocolate ganache. We made enough for 65 people.”

The nearly $3,000 wedding cake was delivered to the ceremony by truck from Maryland, in a trip that took eight hours. It was baked by Maggie Austin Cakes.

British singer Florence Welch is said to have performed three songs at the after-party. Blake counts her as a close friend and she even appeared on an episode of Gossip Girl back in 2011.

The couple have only been dating for a year and had not even announced they were engaged.
