Jack Is Back: 24 to return for new series

Jack Bauer is set to grip the country once more when US series 24 returns for a new series next year.

The Emmy Award-winning show will return in the summer 2014 with lead star, Kiefer Sutherland reprising his role after a four-year hiatus.

Fox network announced that 24: Live Another Day will bring back Sutherland as counter-terrorism agent Jack Bauer in a 12-episode mini-series that will represent 24 hours in Bauer’s life, following the same real-time format that became the series’ trademark.
