James Arthur quits Twitter after another Frankie Boyle row
James Arthur has quit Twitter after another row with comedian Frankie Boyle.
The argument began on Saturday after Arthur responded to a tweet from Boyle insulting his education.
Boyle’s original message was written six days ago and James wasn’t going to take the insult lying down, tweeting: “[I’m] one of the many demons in your mind telling you to insult everybody in the hope of feeling somewhat important. I Luv u x”, Arthur wrote.
Boyle responded by writing: “From the pic I thought it was a child’s drawing of a monster.Sit down &( so far as it’s technically possible) shut your mouth”.
The argument continued to heat up as Boyle attacked Arthur’s appearance and name.
The X Factor winner continued: “You are a 38 yr old man what are you doing? You know nothing about music and comedy it seems.. I feel sorry for your kids.”
He then vowed to leave Twitter, writing: “#LOVE to my fans but I’m coming off twitter for good. HQ will be doing all my tweets from now on. PEACE!”
Arthur apologised earlier today for using a homophobic slur earlier this week.
